It is a year to peddle through memories of people, and events. Delight in the Charleston most beloved holiday tradition, The Nutcracker. A must-see for children and adults alike, this production boasts glittering sets and costumes, world-class dancing, dozens of young students all the flair of a Cantwell/Bahr Theatrical Production. Plus, there’s no more enchanting setting than the breathtaking Sottile Theatre at the College of Charleston.

​Eager to find mementos to talk about his 50-year run presenting the holiday ballet, Don Cantwell digs out a pile of photos and videos he has now dubbed the "Drosselmeyer’s Magic Box ," which he recently unearthed as he researched this momentous occasion.
